Verbatim reproduction without attribution?

- Looking through the page history, the content was posted to WP before the blog, so I think the blog is the one doing the reproduction without attribution. Q T C 03:19, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
KOTOKO
editAccording to KOTOKO's panel at Anime Expo 2005, KOTOKO originally performed Chi ni Kaeru at her first live tour in 2004. Interestingly enough, the Geneon production staff were also looking for a theme song for their current production of Starship Operators (SSO) and were informed of KOTOKO's live tour. The Geneon staff attended KOTOKO's concert and immediately requested that KOTOKO allow them to use Chi ni Kaeru as the Ending Theme to SSO.
Other notes regarding SSO and KOTOKO: The version of Chi ni Kaeru used in SSO is an orchestral remix of the original concert version, hence the name "Chi ni Kaeru ~On the Earth~". As people may or may not know, KOTOKO is an excellent lyricist and most of her drafts are accepted on the first try. Her lyrics for Radiance was one such example. Why KOTOKO did not perform Radiance is more of a production/consumer preference issue. Kazuya Takase probably felt that Kawada Mami (MAMI) was better suited to the task and this isn't the first time something similar to this happened. The "I've Girls Compilation Album Vol 4 - Lament" demonstrates this issue with the production of LAMENT. Originally, KOTOKO was tasked with writing the lyrics and MAMI was tasked with singing it but Kazuya requested that KOTOKO give the song a demonstration run. KOTOKO performed the prototype LAMENT and that recording was what Kazuya decided to use in the 4th Album.
LAMENT is my personal favorite of all of KOTOKO's songs and though it is not listed on the official page, the -Hane- album's LAMENT has been remixed to include more electric sounds from the original. The electric guitar just sounds a lot more prevalent in -Hane-'s LAMENT than in its namesake album. (Source: KOTOKO Panel at Anime Expo 2005. Yes, I was the person who asked her the questions regarding how KOTOKO became affiliated with I've Sound AND about why there was a discrepancy with her Chi ni Kaeru.) I've history
editIt looks to me that the person who wrote this part translated from the Japanese article, but may have had trouble at it. So I've tried my hand at translating and rewrote the section. My draft is here. Would like feedback. If no complains, I'll go ahead and update. -Raica 23:17, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- Article updated. But I still need confirmation on whether I've had anything to do with the song "Do You Remember Me" (sung by JENNY) or not. My searches show that Katou Kazuhiko (加藤和彦, not I've-related) composed the song, whereas the japanese article lists the other song as "Is This The Way You Kill A Love" by GINA. In the meantime, I have removed the former and inserted the latter. --Raica 17:01, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
This singer also sang 'being' and 'another planet' from Shakugan no Shana. Someone should add this reference.[http://www.lyricwiki.org/%E5%B7%9D%E7%94%B0%E3%81%BE%E3%81%BF_(Mami_Kawada):Another_Planet_~Twilight~

Kaori Utatsuki
editIt said nothing about her major debut in August 2007, so I added it into the history section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.28.236.249 (talk) 17:22, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Miki / Mihi
editThe Japanese page says absolutely nothing about a singer named Mihi, just two kanji and the reading 'miki' next to it. (美妃(みき) ) Find it in the Japanese page here: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/I%27ve#.E9.81.8E.E5.8E.BB.E3.81.AB.E3.82.B2.E3.82.B9.E3.83.88.E5.8F.82.E5.8A.A0.E3.81.97.E3.81.9F.E6.AD.8C.E6.89.8B
I think whoever wrote the introduction has the two names mixed up - that the singer's name is in fact Miki but that sometimes people misread it as 'mihi'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Redfruits (talk • contribs) 17:31, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
IKU
editAs of right now (although this may change), it is unknown whether IKU is a new member vocalist or not, according to I've Sound Explorer (which is where a great deal of official news is posted, as far as I'm aware). See the first news blurb (the one farthest down) on http://www.ivesound.jp/log/200801.html "ボーカルのIKUさんについては情報がまだ出ていないため、I'veの新しいボーカリストなのかどうかといった所はまだ分かりません。"
Maybe IKU should be moved to guest artists for now? Redfruits (talk) 01:54, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Article Title
editThe article′s title contains an error: it uses a straight vertical dash (commonly known as “typewriter apostrophe”) where a real typographical apostrophe must be. The only proper apostrophe glyph for English is [ ′ ] (refer to the Apostrophe article for more information); anything else, including the “typewriter apostrophe”, is typographically incorrect and must not be used for writing Wikipedia articles. The article must be renamed, but as an anonymous user I cannot do that, so someone please take care of that, thank you. 95.220.226.75 (talk) 17:24, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
- MOS:PUNCT states that ' is to be used instead of ′. This applies to article titles as well as text. —Farix (t | c) 03:18, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
