Hypothesis: This page is far too technical to merit its own article. Proof: If we took every useful subsection of every Internet RFC and converted it into a Wiki article, it would be a worthless mess. This particular behavior being described does have some interest to information security. I added some explanation for that on to the article. Maybe it should be combined with ICMP Address Mask Reply. CTPAYC (talk) 10:19, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
