This article is as relevant and contains valid information about the 3rd largest thin client company in the world as articles written for Neoware and Wyse that have already been approved. This article is suitable for those seeking to research information about the origins of such companies. User:Epimentel
- The current state of the article does not warrant a G7 in my opinion. While there is no absolute claim to real notability, the page leaves some hints that it might be notable. An altavista search reveals over 100.000 hits [1] for this particular company, which likely indicates notability. The page itself is also complying WP:NPOV and even though the added reference is not one of the best, this is a page that belongs on PROD or AFD for removal, if even required. Improval suggestions
editA few pointers on the article:
- Make sure you add the sentence at the discussion page (3rd largest thin client company in the world) to the article. This is an excellent notability claim.
- Make sure you WP:Source the article with reliable third part sources that back up information in the article.
- And IF possible (Not required) would you happen to have a logo of the company? It would look great in the infobox.
Wither way, good luck with the article, and with kind regards, Excirial (Talk,Contribs) 22:18, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
May we please include the annunciation of the company name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.108.197.62 (talk) 20:58, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Much of this page was pretty out of date and lacking sources. The biggest changes in each section are:
- Intro: added links, added IDC info and cited most recent reference (2011 vs. 2008)
- Recent: deleted section after moving IDC information to intro section
- History: tweaked syntax, added link for 'computer terminals', added citation for Melchers-Group and BITKOM, added locations, and removed incorrect product range
- Studies: changed headline to 'Environmental impact', included Energy STAR rating and citation, added 2011 study and citation
- Products: corrected and expanded list to list actual products
- Competitors: updated to reflect companies that have changed names or gone out of business
I did my best to use third-party sources and use NPOV. Bokdok (talk) 21:11, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
