Updating this page due to outdated content

The page content was reverted back to an older version of the content that is out of date and not accurate. The page will be updated again to reflect current information about IMS, with no promotional information. 162.44.245.88 (talk) 15:51, 13 December 2011 (UTC)

Hello 162.44.245.88. I've undone your edits because they removed citations. Here on Wikipedia, it's all about verifiability. I know that seems a little odd, that an "older version" is more authoritative than a newer one, but as your edits were broad an uncited they had to be reverted. If you have any questions regrading citation I'm happy to discuss them with you, but the easiest way is to add <ref>http://yourlink.com</ref> to your edits. Now clearly not every change needs to be cited, but changing 1/3rd of the article does merit some. It's also a good practice to split large changes up into several edits, so that non-controvertial changes aren't rolled back with the rest. Best, Markvs88 (talk) 17:12, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
I did merge in the history section you posted as it is partially cited. Best, Markvs88 (talk) 17:18, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
Hello Markvs88. I understand your rationale. Since this entry is out of date, I will now begin updating one section at a time with updated information that include references for verifiability. I appreciate the clear guidance and your commitment to Wikipedia's high standards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.44.245.88 (talk) 21:25, 14 December 2011 (UTC)
