Hello. Firstly I would like to disclose that I am an employee of ISG. This is an account that I have set up to suggest fixes and possibly make small, uncontroversial, factual changes to ISG's article and potentially related articles. My aim is to contribute information that will improve the quality of this page and enhance the amount of knowledge available about this company on Wikipedia, in collaboration with impartial editors. I am aware of Wikipedia's COI policies and guidelines and I want to abide by them fully. My edits will be restricted to talk pages as far as is possible and appropriate. The reason I made the account was firstly because I have noticed the official link to about ISG in reference 3 is broken. I would suggest updating this to the correct link which is https://www.isgltd.com/en/about-us/about-us.

Add new notable project

Hello, with reference to the above disclosure I would like to suggest the addition of one of ISG's recent notable projects to the 'Notable projects' section. The bullet would read something like this.

Sustainable retrofit of The Entopia Building, headquarters of The Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership at The University of Cambridge, UK. [references] The building was awarded an EnerPHit Classic certification by the Passive House Institute in 2022. [references]

The building was completed in 2022 so would suggest further addition of (2022) at the end of the first sentence.

Hi Livecloak. I reverted this addition, as the building is not itself - in a Wikipedia-specific sense - 'notable'. See note on your user Talk page. As with other areas where editors look to add 'notable' subjects to lists, the best ploy would be to draft an article about the building, then to submit it to mainspace for approval, and - once it has been approved - to then add it the list. Would the following addition be acceptable as a notable project instead as the subject has an existing Wikipedia article?

New facility for UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology and Institute of Dementia Research (Due to complete in 2024).

The project is a new facility designed to house the existing UCL Queens Square institute along with the Institute for Dementia Research (no page yet), as per the following references:

Notability is a key Wikipedia guideline (see WP:N) - "A topic is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list when it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Note: care is needed in using news references/sources that are heavily based upon company news releases (ISG-sourced content may be seen as unreliable, not independent).

I think the UCL institute could be added, but I would also suggest that the UCL institute article might need expanding to include more information about its buildings so that the relevance of inclusion in ISG's list is clearer. Currently, the article is 99% about the institute and its research and education work (hardly any mention of its physical buildings); other research body articles - the Francis Crick Institute is a good example - have specific sections about their buildings/construction. Tread carefully in adding to the article, however, lest you be seen as having a COI. May be best to suggest additions, with citations, via the article Talk page and let other editors decide. Regards.
