This is a standards body, not a company. I'm an officer of XML UK, a not for profit body in this field. I've asked (in an external email) J. Ken Holman (secretary of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC34) to confirm this in wikipedia.

naming scheme
editSubcommittee 22 is at "SC22" while subcommittee 34 is at "ISO/IEC JTC1/SC34". It would be best if they both had the same naming scheme. I suggest "JTC1/SCXX", but having them match is more important than using any particular method. Herorev 01:27, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
