Tone of article is not very professional

edit

The description of the music video is basically accurate, bizarre as that may sound, but somehow all of the paragraphs under "Music Video" except for the first paragraph fail to sound encyclopedic. Because of the ridiculous nature of the source material I am uncertain as to how one could make the tone of the description more professional, however. --Skyfaller (talk) 08:16, 31 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

It is not accurate. It is not actually Carl Winslow that appears in the video but a guy calling himself Antonio Popeye who performed at Britain's Got Talent. His talent is that he can "pop" his eyes out and he does that in the music video. That is why I recognized him. Podex (talk) 12:07, 2 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Seconded, its not Carl Winslow, its Antonio Francis, a guy who can pop his eyes out. See video credits here and footage of Antonio Francis here. 94.170.127.77 (talk) 19:28, 3 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
The source of the description was lifted from a reddit comment I made about two years ago as a joke: http://www.reddit.com/r/WTF/comments/cw03k/oh_look_a_new_boy_band_wait_what_what_gets/c0vpj40 Unsure who posted it to wikipedia. When I wrote it the audience was for reddit and not wikipedia, thus the unprofessional tone. While it *is* accurate-ish, it's written as satire not fact. That said, I'm also unsure how to go about writing a more professional description of it given the source material. Pvvni (talk) 22:57, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
