The song's title is "I Got You" AngelCrying (talk) 14:08, 4 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Whoever wrote she performed I Got You on Jimmy Kimmel was very misinformed. First of all, the source given that never mentions performing that and numerous sources that show she ONLY performed Happy and Outta My Head and never performed I Got You. I removed it since it was incorrect and her performance on Jimmy Kimmel had nothing to do with I Got You at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.238.106.52 (talk) 19:48, 17 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

top 15

edit

Someone keeps on changing it to her second top 20 single from Echo, when it is in fact her second top 15 single from Echo. Leona has never peaked below 14 in the UK. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.42.168.19 (talk) 05:48, 2 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

I never heard about a "TOP 15" singles chart, It's more proper Top 10 or Top 20. TbhotchTalk2 Me 05:52, 2 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
For further information, Lewis peaked the UK Singles Chart 2 times. TbhotchTalk2 Me 06:02, 2 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yes, the Top 15 is never referred to, only Top 10, Top 20, Top 30, Top 40, Top 75, Top 5, Top 3... anemoneprojectors talk 12:35, 2 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

But look at Justin Bieber's article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Bieber) where the phrase "Top 15 hits" is used. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.42.168.19 (talk) 20:12, 2 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is Leona Lewis, not Justin Bieber. Just because it's in one article doesn't mean it should be in another. Maybe the US and Canada use Top 15 but the UK does not. anemoneprojectors talk 00:44, 3 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Just a little FYI, she has peaked in the charts 3 times —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.205.34.33 (talk) 19:55, 5 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
That doesn't make sense, but it's nothing to do with this article. anemoneprojectors talk 22:24, 5 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

I see you

The song "I See You" was released as single? TbhotchTalk2 Me 03:52, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

No, it wasn't. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 13:56, 26 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Release history

edit

This song was withdrawn from release in the US, therefore shouldn't we remove it from the table? Wikispan (talk)

Maybe, but also could be write a comment about, something like "Cancelled by J records" or simply "Cancelled". TbhotchTalk2 Me 02:28, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'm still yet to see a reliable source confirming it was withdrawn. Do you have one? anemoneprojectors talk 02:54, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
No, I haven't, I will try to search for one. TbhotchTalk2 Me 03:06, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
Nope. But it now seems clear reading personal correspondence, both from US Radio stations and Sony Music themselves, that IGY was pulled. It also helps to explain the lack of US reviews. Wikispan (talk) 10:36, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

No, I haven't. but I found "‘I Got You’ will be released digitally in the UK on 21st February, followed its release on CD the following day, that’s 22nd February" only, and it's already on the article. Can be put <!-— --> instead delete it? TbhotchTalk2 Me 03:20, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is it not strange that IGY has not appeared on ANY of the 50+ U.S. charts? i'm beginning to doubt whether it was actually released in america. there has been no mention of it on US radio and very little promotion. Lil-unique1 (talk) 23:00, 14 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

According to the information I saw, it was pulled back to allow Leona to promote the Avatar soundtrack. Unfortunately we don't have a reference that makes this point clear. Wikispan (talk) 00:00, 15 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
I heard the same thing, but have no reference for it. anemoneprojectors talk 01:54, 15 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Should we changed UK digital download date to 19 February because this is what both Amazon and iTunes show? Lil-unique1 (talk) 16:05, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

If source say that, of course TbhotchTalk C. 16:16, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Russia

edit

The chart page if translated where the highest figure 210 sits it says:

Наивысшая позиция в чарте → Airplay Detection TopHit 100 - 210

Now i've heard of a bubbling under hot 100, but a bubbling under top 200? and that to of an airplay chart? i'm not sure its wise to have this in the article. Lil-unique1 (talk) 05:48, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

It's strange, but that's why I added "feel free in removing it if its not proper". TbhotchTalk C. 05:50, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
Hmmm... yeah i think we're still abit dubious about Russia. i dont think its been added to Goodcharts yet. Its methidology is odd too. The disclaimer at the bottom says "Data for the last past week, are in this column, from Monday to Tuesday change every hour, in accordance with information received from radio stations. At midnight from Tuesday to Wednesday the position of the track on a weekly chart TopHit 100 fixed and then remains unchanged." Lil-unique1 (talk) 05:53, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
That have an asterisk for Esters" and "Airplay". TbhotchTalk C. 05:58, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yup. "Esters" meaning?Lil-unique1 (talk) 06:01, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
I have no idea TbhotchTalk C. 16:16, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Footprints in the Sand (song)

edit

According to the article "IGY" is her lowest charting single in the region (UK), but the song Footprints peaked at number 25. But I don't know if "Footprints" was released as single (w/o double A-side "Better in Time/Footprints in the Sand). Thanks TbhotchTalk C. 19:30, 17 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

"Footprints" as a single was a double-A side with "Better in Time". Its charting at 25 on its own was due to digital downloads from the album so "IGY" is still Lewis's lowest-charting single in the UK. AnemoneProjectors 19:50, 17 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Musicnotes

edit

this is the link. On Wikipedia "Musicnotes.com" may be used but without the link. TbhotchTalk C. 16:05, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Why without the link? AnemoneProjectors 19:14, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Sincerally, I don't know, perhaps because is a download site, but it is used in FA songs (Speechless (Michael Jackson song), 4 Minutes (Madonna song), Say Say Say, Irreplaceable, and others) TbhotchTalk C. 19:22, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
It's used several times in A Girl like Me (Rihanna album) with direct links so it's not blacklisted. This doesn't make sense to me. If there's a direct link, why not use it? Is there a guideline that mentions it or is it just FA reviewers saying the remove the links? AnemoneProjectors 20:00, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Maybe the second, because MN.com is used also with the direct link in GAs songs. Also the sheet book can be used as reference. TbhotchTalk C. 20:07, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
I think the book might be better. MN.com doesn't seem to be anything. AnemoneProjectors 22:35, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Oh you meant MusicNotes. I got confused :) AnemoneProjectors 22:38, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Oops, sorry, only one thing ISBN of Leona Lewis Echo is missing, I cannot find it. TbhotchTalk C. 22:41, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Question

edit

I've been doing some work on this article today, because I want to nominate for GA. But I was wondering because there isn't loads of critical reviews for the song and apparently none for the music video (I've conducted a lot of searches) and that the song charted poorly so the Chart Performance isn't that full, would that affect it being able to ever qualify for GA? I hope someone replies to this! calvin999 (talk) 17:30, 5 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

It wouldn't affect it so long as you kept the commentary intact as much as possible. Thus comments like it became Lewis' xyz top-twenty charting single make up for the lack of detailed information. However note that sometimes it is possible for articles like this to fail because they are not all-encompassing. Rose Colored Glasses (Kelly Rowland song), Grown Woman and Forever and a Day (Kelly Rowland song) are all examples of where the information is scarce but GA can still be achieved. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 17:41, 5 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
