Image copyright problem with Image:Zazu-tlk-ijcwtbk.png
editThe image Image:Zazu-tlk-ijcwtbk.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Redirect
editThis is an unnotable song that completely fails WP:MUSIC. Notability of the film does not confer to the individual song. Article is purely unsourced claims (some of which could be considered defamatory), excessive non-free images, and WP:OR. Previous AfD from over 6 months closed as keep, however keep remarks included several suggestions to redirect or merge which I have attempted to do, but one person continues to block while failing to improve the article to show the claimed notability. Per WP:MUSIC, redirecting to the soundtrack is the appropriate way to handle this. Thoughts? -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 22:04, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- Merge or Redirect or whatever is necessary. The song is not special or notable outside of the soundtrack. It didn't even take off in the limited way that "Circle of Life" did. The one source is a discussion of the film as a whole. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 22:55, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- Source was self-published, and the author does not have any similar works published in reliable third-party publications. Erik (talk | contribs | wt:film) 13:26, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- Redirect per nomination
- Merge and Redirect This article is a weak article by itself. --intelati 03:52, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- Keep Pass WP:NSONGS. TbhotchTalk C. 00:26, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- Another editor or admin noted above that the discussion on the AfD page was "Consensus, keep". With that in mind, I removed the related templates on the main article. AlaskaMike (talk) 18:53, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
Kalimba link
editWhile properly sourced, I've removed the link about Kalimba because it has relevance to him, perhaps, but absolutely no relevance to this song. 76.20.210.160 (talk) 05:23, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
Laura Williams (Nala's singer) link
editThe link currently leads to a section on the eight edition of Big Brother, however, after some research, the Laura Williams mentioned there has nothing to do with the voice actress. The reality show participant was a nanny, whereas Laura Williams, born c. 1978-79 in California US, is a choir singer, pianist and has appeared on other productions like 1988's Angel, and 1991's Jake and the Fatman before lending her voice to Nala in "I just can't wait to be King".[1] [2] [3]
I believe that link is incorrect, then. 177.149.163.167 (talk) 19:43, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
