Background
editI'm pretty sure this section is actually about the Bugalu song "Bang Bang" by Joe Cuba and not about "I Like It Like That". "Bang Bang" has the kids singing in the background and is on Roulette Records. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.65.47.77 (talk) 13:43, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
Did Pete Rodriguez sing this first? or cover it?
editI Like It Like That (A Mi Me Gusta Asi)" is a song written by Tony Pabon and Manny Rodriguez. It was initially a hit for boogaloo musician Pete Rodriguez in 1967, and was one of the most influential boogaloo songs of the era.[1][2] Rodriguez released an album in 1967 with the same title.
[edit] Background
Tony Pabon and Manny Rodriguez originally wrote "I Like It Like That (A Mi Me Gusta Asi)" in 1967. Boogalo musician Pete Rodriguez later covered "I Like It Like That (A Mi Me Gusta Asi)" that year, from his album of the same name
Also it is always played in the odean cinema. Should we mention that? Sweetie candykim (talk) 21:25, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
