Misinterpretation?
editI don't want to step on anyone's toes, but I believe the take on Devil Lad is a bit off... 1) At no point is his ethnicity overtly brought into question; the "You really don't know?" is in reference to him thinking Finch's supposition that the doctor has biological weapons "...because he's black" is rather ignorant or racist. He stares at him in response to that statement, and Finch says "what?" and he answers with the "You really don't know?", not to imply that HE is black, but that Finch is in fact ignorant of his own blatant racism. 2) I don't believe his ethnicity is meant to have anything to do with his surviving the WMD event-- I believe that, and his seeming amusement at all the death and destruction, is meant to imply that (much like his ideas about the WMD), Finch was right: Devil Lad is in fact a demon. I'll give it a couple days to see if anyone else has a dig on this before I edit the section myself. 214.3.138.234 (talk) 12:38, 15 September 2009 (UTC)Steve
