Characterisation

The way Iago switches sides from evil to good and experiences personal growth is interesting and shows a far more multi-faceted character than one might expect and i plan on expanding in this area.RafikiSykes (talk) 01:54, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

Please see the popular culture section. this sees iago being referenced and quoted in articles which are otherwise unrelated to the franchise. This shows that Iago is notable and recognisable in popular culture.RafikiSykes (talk) 12:17, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

Iago (Aladdin) → Iago (Disney) – More accurate as the character appears in more than just the Aladdin franchise including the enchanted tiki room attraction and disney princess franchise. RafikiSykes (talk) 14:02, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

Arabic rendering of name

In the lead, Iago's name is also rendered in the Arabic script as ياغو‎‎. Does this have a basis in reliable published sources about the characters in Disney's Aladdin universe, or is this original research? The Iago character is named "Lago" (لاجو‎) in the Arabic Wikipedia, in the article علاء الدين (فيلم 1992)‎.  --Lambiam 22:56, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
