editWhy was Eric Idle's character named after him? Шизомби 10:14, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
- Because Maxtone-Graham is a big Monty Python fan. Article used to say that, but someone took it out on the grounds that lots of people are Monty Python fans. CanadianCaesar The Republic Restored 19:29, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
- It's true that explanation doesn't go far enough. Was he even involved with Suddenly Susan? In the absence of any information establishing Idle's character was named after IMG, it should probably say Idle's character shares his name. Шизомби 20:00, 10 March 2006 (UTC)
- No, it's true. [1] CanadianCaesar The Republic Restored 03:44, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
- It may be true, but IMDb trivia is not an entirely reliable source - it doesn't give its source. Esquizombi 04:13, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

POV
editThis article has opinon stated as fact and needs to be changed according to WP:NPOV. eg "This loss of humanism and pathos has drained a crucial element of the show's success, and lead to a sharp decline in quality." Quality is relative therefore this is opinon not fact. Ted BJ 07:53, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, some newbie kept adding that stuff despite repeated additions and attempts to explain OR and citations to him. CanadianCaesar Et tu, Brute? 23:36, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Height
editWhat is the source for his height? Here it says 6'6", IMDB says 6'8". Neither one lists a source. 67.71.141.44 (talk) 13:46, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:Verytallman.png
editThe image Image:Verytallman.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.
