Source: "On 20 May a force of 1300-1500 paratroops was dropped to both flanks of and on top of the Australians. The Germans had powerful air support, and the Australians were isolated from the start from the rest of the garrison of Crete. Lt-Col CAMPBELL remained in command during ten days continuous and at times bitter hand to hand fighting." ([1])

Overall: Hawkeye7 and Newm30, I’ve completed my review of this article and the hook and find that they meet or exceed DYK criteria. I confirmed that the article was created by Newm30 on 19 December 2020, and that it is readable prose size at 4044 characters (705 words). According to a Times obituary, their marriage was dissolved after two years.[1]
Not mentioned in the article, and difficult to reconcile with the fact that they share a gravesite. The fact that Campbell did not remarry until five years after her death may also be significant.
