Minister?

edit

The text days " He served as Minister for Science and Technology for most of the Second Major ministry: from 1994 to 1997". His personal web site indeed has a similar statement, but the linked article has his name as "Under-Secretary of State for Trade and Industry"; the office of "science and technology" seems to not have existed during the 90s (no other mentions in Wikipedia, nor web search results about such a UK office).
