Description
editThe description on the top of the page is straight of the product description on eBay.
Neutral Point Of View
editThis page was loaded with something seeming like a sales pitch, it'd be great if someone could look over my edits and see if this page needs to be rewritten or not. I'm not sure if the below post belongs here either, I found it when editing this article.

I haven't looked at the previous edits, but the article no longer needs an NPO tag I believe. If you're the one that edited it most recently, then good job, because it seems perfectly neutral to me, and very informative. C.J. (talk) 14:46, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
body construction
editi have one of these guitars, and im not convinced the body is solid. i had to do some carving on it to make it thinner to put a new volume control in. it looked and felt to me like it was plywood. im not certain, and i don't want to start removing a bunch of finish to be certain. maybe someone with a trashed out one can check it out
This person that is debating the artical is not very knowledgeable in the field of guitars. I own a gax 70 and a ax7221, both are very well built and only a slight difference in wieght. I have even done work on the gax and have proof that it is solid body. The rest of the artical is fact and not commercial. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Laker20 (talk • contribs) 18:35, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
I have a GRX40 and stripped the paint from the inside routing pocket in order to make some copper shielding tape stick to it and mine sure isn't made out of plywood. I also have an original 1987 RG550 and it's actually heavier than the GRX. If the GRX was plywood, it would be more than twice as heavy as my RG550 that's made out of basswood. I'd say your dispute is resolved. (guitard00d at yahoo dot com) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.187.28.17 (talk) 15:56, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
I have a GIO GRX70QA. I am a beginner, so I don't know much about if my guitar is solidbody or not. How would I know if my GIO GRX70QA is a solidbody? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:401:502:D070:B823:6A16:9B9E:D267 (talk) 18:01, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
Missing Product Series
editThe GART series is part of GIO. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Derpderp97 (talk • contribs) 02:00, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
very poor article
editStart with the basics: an affordable guitar series is almost as empty a claim as a "first step" model. Someone who comes here NEEDS to know what is meant by words like "affordable" and "budget." Once those terms are defined, it MUST be clarified as to what it is about the GIO that makes them fit those categories: what is it (design? materials? hardware?) that justifies the claims?
The comparison to Squier and Epiphone fails: those are brands with their own lines and tiers, from mass-market toys up to fine limited-run instruments.
