@Tayeb188: with regard to the Infobox that you created: the Encyclopedia of Islam mentions that he was born in a village near Qal'at Bani Hammad. Where did you get Hamza from? I apologize for my mistake, you are right. He was born in the Qal'aa of Bani Hammad, though his family originated from the town of Hamza according to Al-Ghubrini. As for the place of death, Al-Zarkali mentioned in his book Al-A'lam, chapter 7, that Ibn Hammad moved from Sala and settled in Marrakesh, where he eventually passed away.[1]Tayeb188 (talk) 08:48, 5 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
