To Whomever finds this in the future, I found this article with two short paragraphs and have added as much as I have access to with my limited resources in English. I focused more on adding history and some basic facts about the tradition. To anyone who does speak Icelandic, it would be very helpful to see what could be found in that language. More specifically, anyone from Iceland who lives this tradition could easily add some more information. I would love to have made a current section to show the relevance of the tradition today. It's exoticism, plain and simple. Publishers publish more books on Christmas, done, that's the whole tradition, I would nominate for deletion if I could be bothered to. 31.209.147.207 (talk) 18:45, 12 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
