editThere is mention of Idalia in Cotton Belt Memories by Paul B. Wooldridge (1915-2002). Wooldridge's uncle owned one of two stores in the community. Wooldridge learned telegrapy in Idalia and went on to a career on the Cotton Belt Railroad as an operator and agent from 1937-1981. See pages 42, 51 and 55 of Cotton Belt Memories for Idalia. --SSW9389 17:51, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
