Time on idle.
editThe section about how to lower idle time is moved to idle (engine). —Preceding unsigned comment added by TarenGarond (talk • contribs) 03:16, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
Merge suggestion
editStub article, and closely overlapping subjects. I propose to merge Idle speed as a section into Idle (engine). One example of an obvious question is the degree of environmental impact of choosing a different idle speed for a given engine - such a topic could fit into either article. - Comment: From looking at the Swedish and German articles, my first impression is that the subjects mentioned in idle speed and idle (engine) seem to be treated in the same article. Sauer202 (talk) 19:02, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
- Support: This makes sense to me; there's no point in maintaining two articles about the same general concept. Make sure to leave a redirect from Idle (engine) when moving though. DesertPipeline (talk) 12:51, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Sauer202 and DesertPipeline: I have carried out the merge. I have left this article as a redirect to the relevant section. A7V2 (talk) 08:41, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
