Ignatius comes from the Roman name Egnatius, which was derived from the Latin ignotus, meaning "unknowing". I think. Neil  13:13, 17 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

What about Ignatius Sancho? The first black person to be published in Britain, and also the first to be given the vote.
