Present-day status and notability
editIs Ikjan actually still a (distinct) village today? I don't know the area, but according to coordinates provided by the page creator, it looks like it's just literally a part of Beni Aziz, and there's already an article for that. I can't find any reference to a modern Ikjan anywhere else.
So far the only information in the article is a summary of historical information that was awkwardly translated from this source. I've cleaned up some of it, but this information is already covered in more detail at Fatimid Caliphate and no further information is being provided here about the town itself. Accordingly, it's unclear that this article meets the criteria for notability, as there's nothing here that doesn't belong more appropriately elsewhere. - I may have asked too soon: I missed the fact that the cited source actually says "Agglomération aujourd’hui disparue" in its opening line. So not still a town today. R Prazeres (talk) 17:19, 18 September 2022 (UTC)
- And on another closer inspection, the text was almost certainly Google-translated from the aforementioned cited source, which makes it likely a copyright violation. R Prazeres (talk) 17:34, 18 September 2022 (UTC)
