The result of the move request was: Moved. There seems to be enough consensus, and it does seem to be predominantly styled that way. — Amakuru (talk) 13:03, 30 August 2016 (UTC)
Illfonic → IllFonic – Commonly known with capital "F", target is creation-protected – Lordtobi (✉) 12:28, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). EdJohnston (talk) 20:06, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
- Comment: The linked sources are not uniform in capitalizing the 'F'. For instance see
http://www.ign.com/companies/illfonic
which spells the developer as 'Illfonic'. This needs a discussion. EdJohnston (talk) 20:06, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
- While usually overview pages as you linked are not very usable, see also that IGN class it as "Illfonic Games" - where does the "Games" come from? To that, you can clearly see the capital F in the image. I had similar discussions before, and, if sources are not consistent with upper- or lower-case, it would be decided to use the way the official pages do it, which is always with capital F (with an exception on the contacts page, probably a typo). Lordtobi (✉) 20:24, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
- Addition: The company is also incorporated as "IllFonic LLC". Lordtobi (✉) 20:29, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

- Strong support Will do. I'll check out the closing instructions and I'll take it from here. sheldon.andre (talk) 03:07, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
- Please note that you cannot "take it from here", as IllFonic is creation-protected for access only by admins; this is why it was originally requested at WP:RM/TR but moved here for discussion. EdJohnston would in this case be here for us as he moved the discussion to here. Lordtobi (✉) 08:04, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
- Also, @Sheldon.andre, a move discussion that is still open cannot just be closed because of your "strong support". soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 06:09, 28 August 2016 (UTC)

Star Citizen Involvement
editFirst off, the table implies that Star Citizen was released in 2016, which is not the case. The game should be listed as TBA.
Secondly, Cloud Imperium Games was not happy with IllFonic's work, and all of the work they did for the project was discarded. This is not reflected in the article, making it seem like IllFonic actually had a big part in developing Star Citizen. I believe the article would be much more informative if the article reflected these facts, but am unsure of the relevance in regards to IllFonic itself, since this is an article about IllFonic, not Star Citizen. Would this information be welcome here? Biglulu (talk) 06:46, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
