editmissing: Aperture_(photography_software)
hallo, I want to point your attention to Antony. As I am the author, I think there is a conflict of interest. Thus please review the application and decide on its addition to wikipedia. Kind regards, RausH (140.78.123.56 (talk) 21:58, 24 March 2010 (UTC))

IrfanView
editRemoved IrfanView from Image Organiser list as Image Viewer only. Jaqian (talk) 13:02, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
Retention of Exif, IPTC and XMP metadata already embedded in the image file itself
editYe gods. I heard horror stories about one of the GNOME image organizers (clobbering the date), but is this something we have to worry about with all image organizers? Digikam hasn't let me down so far (but I'm looking to see if there's a better alternative). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.53.68.233 (talk) 14:59, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

Why is there no distinction between embedded and separate tags?
editThe article makes no distinctions between programs viewing/editing tags that are embedded within the image files, and tags that are contained external to them. (either in a database that the program has, and/or in a metadata-file or something) It would be nice, if there was mention of whether or not they automatically edit/modify tags (of either variety), and if it distinguishes between editing embedded tags and external/database tags, but just having the embedded/external distinction, at the very least…--98.128.228.237 (talk) 23:55, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
Google Photos - Map View
editTried to edit but i don't really know how to do that correctly to keep formatting and appropriate syntax. Google Photos is listed as "no" under map view. But it actually does have a fantastic map view, it's just limited to mobile devices. So the edit should be "Yes, Mobile Only" in my opinion. The web version does not yet support map view and there is no "desktop" version. Mike6545 (talk) 01:11, 16 September 2024 (UTC)
