The Immortals are spoken of by Anna Komnene in the Alexiad. They appear by her accounts to be Infantry and she goes on to say that that a requirment to be an Immortal is to live through at least one battle. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.246.199.200 (talk) 21:25, 20 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
