Cool article!
editGood work on this! Definitely seems the tour is getting too big to not have its own cultural impact page Elttaruuu (talk) 14:52, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
Earthquake
editIs it worthy to mention that seismic activity equivalent of a 2.3 magnitude earthquake occurred during a concert in Seattle? [1]https://www.cnn.com/2023/07/27/entertainment/taylor-swift-seismic-activity/index.html I don't think there was a real earthquake. Cwater1 (talk) 22:52, 29 July 2023 (UTC)
How to include the concert movie
editThe concert movie was announced and obviously it has impacts such as AMC putting in better servers as well as theaters getting a boost since the strike has stopped many movies. Where should we include it, in economy or in its own section?
Thanks. Digitslain12 (talk) 23:06, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
- A separate Cinema section exists now ℛonherry☘ 09:09, 5 September 2023 (UTC)
Local currencies to USD
editI've been the one who adds the US currency equivalent for the tour in non US areas so I'm wondering if we should have someone check the conversion to see if it's accurate or not. Thanks and please let me know whenever possible. Digitslain12 (talk) 19:11, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
Article Picture
editThe picture to the right of the first paragraph is very, very low quality. Are there any higher-fidelity pictures of the tour that we can use instead? JohnR1Roberts (talk) 18:28, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
Notable?
editI suggest merging. This article is too detailed and Taylor Swift is receiving way too much coverage. 20 upper (talk) 06:18, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- You believe Swift is "receiving way too much coverage" and yet also believe this article should not stand-alone? That's basically WP:NPPOV. An editor cannot forcefully try to diminish a topic on Wikipedia just because you think it is "way too much". Wikipedia is at the mercy of sources. The articles must be commensurate with the coverage in the reliable sources. If all the reliable sources are covering the Eras Tour in depth, supported by statistical, economic data and cultural and social commentary, then Wikipedia must also do proportionately. This article was split from the Eras Tour as the topic itself became more notable and vast in size. WP:WHENSPLIT lays down two reasons for an article split - size and content notability - both of which this article qualifies. With the commentary the tour has gathered in a dozen of countries individually, all independent reports, in different fields, a merger is neither plausible nor consistent with Wikipedia's notability guidelines.
