Obscure subspecies name of the Imperial Cormorant
editPhalacrocoracidae. Phalacrocorax atriceps gaini. Imperial Cormorant subspecies.
This is an unusual name which may be a nomen nudum. I am unable to determine the authority. This subspecific nominal concept may refer only to the South American section of Antarctica for its distribution. It has appeared on various lists. I would be willing to try to trace the source of it.
