Notable
editI will add about 6 internal links to articles already in wikipedia, plus references. How could you fault a song recorded by both Frankie Yankovic and Flaco Jimenez? Pustelnik (talk) 21:39, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
- its not about faulting a subject, its about whether or not it meets notability guidelines.--RadioFan (talk) 03:08, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
From the "Songs" page: "Songs ... that have been performed independently by several notable artists, bands or groups are probably notable." Pustelnik (talk) 14:55, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
English Translator
editEMI says Joe Trolli and Franki Yankovich. The Two Ton recording is ASCAP. I'm not sure which one is first, or if they are independent. Pustelnik (talk) 18:47, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Alternate wording
editI've heard an alternate wording to the last two lines:
"And since heaven's always near / give me another beer!"
I can't find this version anywhere online, so if anyone has seen it there or in print I'd like to know. Dismalscholar (talk) 17:50, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
