Why Was Tet a "Calamity"?
editAs NVA sources now clearly show, Tet was a disaster for the North. Tet was portrayed, erroneously, by the U.S. media as a defeat for the U.S. It is likely that the person who described Tet as a "calamity" was still laboring under the impression that U.S. forces had been defeated during Tet. Quite the contrary is true, as the historical record now shows. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.44.144.129 (talk) 21:14, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
