Species

The following paragraph appears in the article:

In addition, 64 native plant species and 48 native invertebrate species have been introduced to the island, some of which were introduced.

Are they native - or have they been introduced?

From [1]: "There are 64 native plant species including 20 endemic flowering plants and 17 endemic ferns.... There are 48 native invertebrate species, 10 of which were introduced to the island." The part about the invertebrates is still somewhat confusing to me, though... --Idont Havaname 02:25, 25 September 2005 (UTC)

Why?

Nothing is said in the article about why the interior is so difficult to reach. Is it the terrain, or is it heavily forested, or what? Rojomoke 11:51, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

"Yeast and possum farm"?

I'm assuming this is some kind of vandalism, but going back through previous edits, it's been there a while, evolving from just 'a farm' to 'a yeast and bear farm', and now 'a yeast and possum farm'. Move

I moved this page back to Inaccessible Island from Inaccessible Island, Tristan da Cunha as it is the main meaning of the name. and the others are scatterings of Antarctic rocks. the dab page is now at Inaccessible Island (disambiguation). Sabine's Sunbird talk 22:20, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

Inaccessible island → Inaccessible Island – The page was moved here to a form with "island" in lower case. That was incorrect - Inaccessible Island is its proper name. Ghmyrtle (talk) 12:00, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

House / structure on the island?

In the Google Maps satellite imagery of Inaccessible Island, a structure can be seen in the northwest section of the island. Someone has also uploaded a photo of the structure (taken from a boat) to Google Maps, and an "unnamed road" leads from it to the shore which is labeled as "Port?". It would be interesting to include in the article what this "only structure on the island" is - It's too modern to have anything to do with the Glass Family or the Stoltenhoff's, but maybe the 1982 Denstone College (or other) research? Or a "port" / storage building built by Tristan Islanders? BluDevil90 (talk) 08:02, 7 December 2015 (UTC)

Numbers Problem
