Notability

edit

I don't think that by itself this article is notable. I'm not sure how to fix it, but since it focuses so much on section 165 of the US tax code, perhaps the article should be about that. Loss on sale of residential property could probably be merged into it. Killian441 (talk) 23:27, 7 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

I came to this site because i was looking for a list of countries that tax/don't tax gambling winns — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.95.142.180 (talk) 12:24, 25 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Principal Source of Income

edit

Is it not the case in the UK that gambling income is taxable if it is the person's "principal source of income"? I always thought it was a bit of a legal grey area.Paulturtle (talk) 01:32, 9 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Income tax and gambling lossesIncome tax on gambling – This article isn't exclusively about (non)deductions of gambling losses, but just as well covers the taxability of gambling winnings. PanchoS (talk) 00:00, 11 July 2016 (UTC) --Relisting. Omni Flames (talk) 00:54, 19 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

What on earth is meant by "a hairy legislation"? -- Picapica (talk) 08:54, 14 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
