Talk:Index of Cameroon-related articles

Latest comment: 13 years ago by R'n'B in topic Index?

The target page for this wiki is now a REDIRECT to Wikipedia:Featured article candidates, which itself was a disambiguation page I had created. Please don't hesitate to resurrect the disambiguation page when the article Front of Allies for Change has been created. Regards, Court land.

Problems

edit

This page links to Koko, which I guess is some famous name for Cameroon, but unfortunately, the link to Kotoko (KOTOKO) is assigned to a japanese artist. Should an explanation be given ? I've been searching around for the name "Kotoko", but related to Cameroon to clear things up, but apparently, I have not enough knowledge in these fields to write another Kotoko article for it. So I think we should add a disambiguation page somewhat like the Vietnamese page to clear things up .. | ipridian 10:20, 10 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

The Kotoko are an ethnic group (it may also be the name of a town; I can't remember off the top of my head). I'll try to write something short on them later today under the title Kotoko people. —BrianSmithson 13:41, 10 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I wrote up the kingdom instead. See Kotoko kingdom. Kotoko is now a disambiguation page. The fact that the Japanese singer spells the name in all caps makes a page move unnecessary for that particular article. —BrianSmithson 21:08, 12 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Updated

I just went through and added everything from Category:Cameroon that wasn't here. No promises that I spelled everything correctly, though. Now we just need to follow all the links to make sure disambiguation pages don't need to be set up for some of these terms. — BrianSmithson 09:40, 26 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Index?

edit

If this is an index of articles as the title says, rather than a list of topics, then all the links should go to existing Wikipedia articles and the article titles should not be altered or hidden by "|" pipes. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 01:24, 14 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
