History?
editIndonesia and United States have a long history of relationship. I think it's a good idea to put it in the article. There was up-downs in the relationship and it plays important role to Indonesia-US relations. 110.138.104.119 (talk) 09:48, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Nothing about the US aid to the 1965 coup and the mass killings? Nothing about the US attempts to destabilise Sukarno's regime? My, some propaganda hacks at the State Department did have a field day here... this article is simply nauseating. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.193.102.97 (talk) 19:01, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

editI placed the POV tag when creating the article because it is pasted from a US government website. Because this comes from a US govt source it may not be neutral, but I don't have the expertise to judge. (Hopefully others that know more will simply remove the tag if they think the article looks okay.) Mangostar (talk) 00:10, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
- Even worse, it deals only with the present day. Indonesian-US relations are crucial to the history of Indonesia - just look at articles like Indonesian National Revolution, Renville Agreement, Revolutionary Government of the Republic of Indonesia and Transition to the New Order. Imagine the article on Pearl Harbor with only the section on Ships currently homeported at Pearl Harbor! Davidelit (talk) 16:37, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, and because its source is only from a US gov website, it describes Indonesia looks like a US subordinate only. I agree that this article is NOT neutral; and I call for others' help to repair the article as I don't have capability or time to do it (I have another project here). In Harmonia Progressio! Development assistance from the United States to Indonesia
editThis entire section is just copy-pasted from United States Government sources. Needs a massive fix. PvOberstein (talk) 03:28, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
