editThere seems to be ̈(again) another image changing and using disagreements in Indonesia-releted articles, especially after some image changings involving or done by Rachman227. And (again) it is dancing to close to an edit war. I am not bother to addres him in his talk page, since the message will be erased anyway, so I will addresed this issue in this talk pageː
This one is the longstanding image, describing common Indonesian people, not ethnic specific (not wearing "baju adat"/ethnic attire). Yes they are Balinese according to image information, but they are wearing common cothes. Close up smiling faces of beautiful common people. Good quality human interest image. I think is better to represent common Indonesian people.
Or this one, an image recently pushed forward by Rachman227ː
Long shot, image of small people to far away in front of Pura (Balinese temple), faces is not clear, ethnic and religious specific (Balinese Hindu).
Which one is better? Let's invite other editors/contributor to have their piece of mind, and let's try to reach consensus, instead of involving in an (almost) edit war. Gunkarta talk 08:06, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
- Relax, Gunkarta. I cropped it:
- PS: Did you realize the family in that your preferred photo is also Balinese? "One happy family. The one in pink looks Japanese. Very fun subjects to work on. The people are extremely friendly and honest in Bali. It's fun to work on portrait shots with them." "Bali – The People (2685096028).jpg"
