MSN Virtual Earth
editShould it be mentioned that MSN Virtual Earth doesn't display the buildings? Daev 00:15, 11 October 2005 (UTC)
- I wonder why.... ;) The VE links are from a template, so I don't think it's absolutely necessary. alerante ✆ 23:39, 11 October 2005 (UTC)
the Cray computer anecdote is erroneous
editIt was a Cray X-MP, and it was in the 1980s. If you just click the specified Cray-3 link, you will see that only a single Cray-3 was ever built, and it wasn't successful. I will go ahead and make the edits. JohnC 02:39, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
20525 Mariani
editon the other side of DeAnza was occupied by Sun Microsystems 1997-2002 when it was reacquired by Apple[1]. knoodelhed (talk) 06:00, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Apple sign
editI have a picture I made in 2004, me standing next the old Apple sign with the red Apple, so 2002 can't be correct! It was still there on Infinite Loop in 2004 (Oktober)
This article should be deleted
editI know I'm not a member of Wikipedia, but I have to say that this is perhaps the most useless article and the most obvious candidate for deletion I have ever seen. There's nothing notable about the street itself, and let's face it, the only reason this article is here at all is because it's tangentially related to Apple, and Apple is really-really-cool. By that standard, maybe there should be an article about Apple's janitor? or the bar down the road where some of Apple's programmers knock back a few after work? or the fire hydrant in front of Apple's main building?
Or to put it another way -- why doesn't Wikipedia have an article about Woodland Drive, in Plains, Georgia? After all, that's where Jimmy Carter lives, and he was President of the United States.
Delete this. 98.67.146.145 (talk) 14:13, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
- Steve Jobs was a genius. Carter was a retard peanut farmer who, after 2012, will be the 2nd worst president in the history of the US. Stop trolling or you will be dealt with. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.31.155.94 (talk) 23:42, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
BJ's Restaurant & Brewery
editI am at a loss to explain why this is included: The local BJ's Restaurant & Brewery, just off campus, is often jokingly referred to as "IL 7". Unneccesary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anon2468 (talk • contribs) 03:32, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
- It's somewhat trivia, but is nonetheless true and is widely known as that to insiders. Here's a book reference, if anyone wants to add it;
Lashinsky, Adam (25 January 2012). Inside Apple : how America's most admired-and secretive-company really works (1st ed. ed.). New York: Business Plus. p. 40. ISBN 9781455512157. {{cite book}}
