It is surprising that Wikipedia does not have an article on the historical concept of an infirmary (resting house for the infirm), nor does it contain any reference to them in the article covering hospitals or even in the "history of hospitals" article. It may be worth expanding this article into a real article giving details of what an "infirmary" was in the past, while maintaining a link to first aid room as that is the most common use of the word infirmary today.
