1) Good work with inline references. They are inside the text and each sentence has a corresponding inline citation.
2) The references need to be formatted via the {{cite web}} or similar tag so that the references list provides year, title, author, and publisher information to the reader. Please correct this. See how it is done in other articles, and read WP:Referencing for beginners.
3) I believe that the first word of the first paragraph must be the same as the article name. Perhaps the draft needs to be renamed so that its name becomes "United Nations Information Portal on Multilateral Environmental Agreements", or the first sentence needs to be reworded to start with "InforMEA (...) is ... ".
4) Wikilinks to UN Environment (do not know the correct page name) and Multilateral Environmental Agreement need to be added.
5) "which are also used in university curriculums" is vague. Which universities use this system?
6) " InforMEA provides access to more than 20 online e-learning courses" is vague. Specify how many.
7) " InforMEA provides access to more than 20 online e-learning courses" -- for free or does a charge apply? This needs to be specified.
8) Inline citations may be added in the middle of a sentence. They do not have to go at its end.
9) "... are presented annually in June" -- by whom? This needs to be clarified.
10) "IUCN" and "Ramsar Secretariat" need to be wikilinked or expanded.
11) "Information and Knowledge Management (IKM) Steering Committee" is vague. Is this committee a part of UN or something else?
12) I have not checked notability. I will be ready to do this after item number (2) is fixed.
Please fix the above and leave a message. Thank you.
Vocabulary
editIs there a reason the term 'MEA' is preferred over the term 'International environmental agreement' for which there already is a Wikipedia article? This is a little confusing. Gryllida (talk) 10:00, 18 April 2018 (UTC)

editThanks for improving the draft.
1) "its Parties and the environmental community" Can this be replaced with 'the public'? I am presuming the information is publicly available to any person.
2) Who runs the portal? Is "is facilitated by" the same thing as "is run by"?
3) "Since its launch in 2011 InforMEA has expanded its platform from a Thesaurus on Environmental Law and Conventions to providing access to MEA related information in the form of decisions, resolutions, news, calendars of events, a glossary, lists of Parties, national focal points and national reports and strategies." This looks long and confusing. It is better to use short sentences. "InforMEA was launched in 2011.[REF] Initially it provided online services which included online thesaurus on Environmental Law and Conventions[REF]. This provided access to MEA related information in the form of decisions, resolutions, news, calendars of events, a glossary, lists of Parties, national focal points and national reports and strategies.[REF]"
4) "Additionally, InforMEA provides access to 32 free online e-learning courses related to the MEA's, which are used in several University curriculum's such as of the Macquarie University in Sydney [5], the University of Eastern Finland [6] and the UN system staff college (UNSSC). [7]" -- here it is good that you added 'free' Reference "5" is from a university, but 6 is not. Do you have a reference from the website of the University of Eastern Finland? It is also unclear whether there are any more universities. "Several" needs to be replaced with "three", or additional references need to be added.
5) References 3, 8, 9 have missing either author or publisher name. This needs to be added.
6) Additional context needs to be provided. What other people or groups use this service? What is their commentary or reviews or feedback? Is the InforMEA referenced in scientific publications or published books? Who what where how runs the portal -- as a separate company or what? How many staff are employed in the company? Where are the company headquarters?
Please resolve this and leave a message. Thank you. Gryllida (talk) 10:11, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
Merge? (question to author, and tagger for speedy deletion)
editPerhaps this article could be rewritten to read Draft:Online services provided by United Nations, or merged into the 'United Nations' article into a 'website and online services' section? Seeing that it is run by UN itself, perhaps information about it could be added there until there is enough independent discussion of the subject for it to require splitting into a separate article. What do you think? --Gryllida (talk) 05:45, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
I can write a new article and call it Information Platform on Multilateral Environmental Agreements(InforMEA), if the name is an issue. But i want to highlight that this account is not run by the UN itself because this is my personal Wikipedia account and the only reason why i put COI in the description was that I am Interning at the UN. I do really appreciate your help Gryllida.
Contested deletion
editThis page is not unambiguously promotional, because i have edited everything out that could be seen as promotional. It is now just a page that expands Wikipedia. It provides just the facts of InforMEA and there is no aim in promoting any services of InforMEA through this page. It is a shame that other UN servies like the UNSSC page are on Wikipedia without credible sources and i have put so much effort and time into creating this page by editing the feedback from your helpful volunteers, making it as elaborate as possible. I have now deleted the additional information that i was asked to add by some of your volunteers and hope that this article can go live. I have no personal or financial interest in promoting InforMEA I do however care about the Environment and Think that when people search for the Information Platform on Multilateral Environmental Agreements InforMEA in order to learn more about environmental rights they should find it on Wikipedia! --PhilippInfor (talk) 08:36, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
