References that need explaining
editCan someone explain the references in this sentence:
Among her other parts were "a spirit" in Armide and Yngve in Frigga (season 1786-1787), Carl in Folke Birgersson till Ringstad (1792-1793), Carl Sjöcrona in Det farliga förtroendet (1793-1794), Gustafva in De gamla friarna (1795-17969, Agarenne in Panurge på lanterneön (1799-1800), Madame de Brillon in Herr des Chalumeaux (1807-1808) and Lisetta in Griselda (1809-1810).
If these are foreign language works then they need to be in the correct foreign language and if possible the composer should be identified. Thanks. --Kleinzach 00:49, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
These parts are referenced by the cited Georg Nordensvan: "Svensk teater och svenska skådesepelare från Gustav III till våra dagar. Första bandet, 1772-1842" (Swedish theatre and Swedish actors from Gustav III to our days. First Book, 1772-1843). I am no expert. However: Herr des Chalumeaux is Monsieur de Chalumeaux, (French play), De gamla friarna is The old suitors, I believe by Dalayrac, if I remember correctly, Panurge på lanterneön is Panurge on the Lantern Island, Armide I believe was from France. Folke Birgersson till Ringstad is Folke Birgersson of Ringstad, (Swedish play), and Frigga (Swedish play). I am sorry I could not be of more help, but perhaps this could help someone who knows more about operas. It could be added, that Inga Åberg was employed at both the theatre and at the opera in paralell, and was both a singer and an actor. Most plays performed in Stockholm at that point was the same plays performed in Paris, and often by Glück, except for some written especially in Swedish, some even by King Gustav. --85.226.45.229 (talk) 21:22, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

- I Understand your point. I fully agree with you that the composers should be added to this article. However. The parts she made, and the operas listed, are not unverified. Her parts are verified, and the productions she participated in are verified. It is verifed, that she played the part of X in the production XX. This information is fully and completely verified by the cited book by Nordensvan, which is cited as a reference for the article. What is not verified, is the composer for the production. This should of course be added, and it is important that it is. I think it would be a misstake to delete the parts she made, because the composers of them are unknown. By doing so, we remove (referenced) information which will I am sure be developed eventually. The parts and the operas are verified, after all; she is verifed to have played a part named X in a production named X. This information is not unverified, but rather uncomplete. The articles of wikipedia will always be updated eventually. After all, articles are being expanded all the time, and more and more information are always added to them, and the information in them are developed. Parts she made
editThe parts are in danger of being deleted because the composer of the works is not written in the article. So I will place them here: She and Fredrique Löwen were among the first named Swedish actresses to play breeches roles when they had the two leading male parts in The Two Valets in 1794. She made a success in Tanddoktorn (The Dentist) with Lars Hjortsberg in 1800, and played the leading part in Kalifen i Bagdad (The Caliph in Bagdad) with her brother Gustav Åbergsson and Jeanette Wässelius in 1806. In 1796, she played opposite famous actors such as Christoffer Christian Karsten, Caroline Halle-Müller, Louis Deland and Carl Stenborg in the play Karavanen, which was held to celebrate that the young king had been declared of legal majority, and in 1810, she launched the show Markis Tulipano in her recettperformance at the Opera. Tulipano
editAs for Marquess Tulipano, I have translated it from the title it was given in Sweden, so it may have had a completely different title originally. It is deiscribed as an opera buffa. These titles are given only in Swedish on the programs. I will check this; as it was an opera she launched herself 1809, it is important that it stays. --85.226.47.151 (talk) 09:53, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
