editI removed "Despite this, a digital font with ink traps will scale the ink traps to whatever size the font is being used." from the very end. This is not necessarily true since digital fonts can include optical sizes. I assume the author of this was thinking of one or more specific fonts that had ink traps but only one (default) optical size. 137.73.175.70 (talk) 13:21, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, technically a different optical size is a different font (except in the case of Multiple Master fonts.) While we can nitpick over semantics it remains a valid point that digital fonts will often end up being used at sizes where the ink traps do not perform as intended. 58.173.41.153 (talk) 09:15, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
