this is not reasonable editing. Lets keep the two people separate for the purposes of discussion. First step is I am renaming this one according to MOS. DGG 03:26, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

The sources cited both use the name "Inky Moore". Whatever happened to the "use common names" principle? Resurgent insurgent 03:46, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
There are two sources. One uses Inky, putting it in quotes. The other uses the full name. To me, that implies thre is not prefered use for the nickname. Please do not just revert a disputed redirect, but discuss it first. DGG 02:29, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
I have seen the text of the Harrisburg Patriot article and it uses the nickname. You can access the text using Factiva if your library has it. Resurgent insurgent 02:34, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, this just gets us where we started, for I just looked at the first line of the Penna. one, and even the one although it uses the nickname in the heading, the first line reads " Enoch S. "Inky" Moore, Jr." and that this is the form used on the plaque. As a sort of official document, I think the plaque takes priority. I can't say he interests me enough to pursue the question much further; perhaps you will want to make the change yourself. Once a question is disputed , it is always best to discuss on the article talk page before you revert .DGG 02:36, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
