Beach
editI found it odd that nothing is noted about the beach since people from all over Toronto and it's suburbs travel 2 hours to spend the day there. --74.12.32.40 23:04, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Please dont revert Dose Of Dude
editTHe group is very notable, and has brought attention to Innisfil from over 9000 k away. they need to be mentioned on here somewhere.
- I seriously doubt that, but if it's true you need to provide some reference/citation to a reputable source to prove your point. As it currently appears, it looks like either spam or vandalism. PKT(alk) 04:05, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, no - are you talking about the video blogger? He/they haven't done anything worth noting in the article about the town of Innisfil article - not even close. PKT(alk) 13:47, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- The Comedy Group is best known for the character "Awesome Win Person", and their NDP support. Other things they are notable is the canadian Wise Beard Man, and the IM Playin Wow routine. They have done live performances in many location and have a group of over 9000 cult-like followers. Please dont revert again Tippx (talk) 02:39, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- The claims you're making are unsubstantiated, and frankly "9000 cult-like followers" is probably an exaggeration. Provide references and I'll have a look. Please also review Wikipedia's criteria for notability. PKT(alk) 02:41, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- One of the many things they are famous for their ustreaming at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/awesome-win-person-in-2d!Tippx (talk) 02:53, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- The link you provided is 404, and you should also read Wikipedia:Verifiability. Wikipedia wants "material [that] has already been published by a reliable source". That they may have loaded something to ustream.tv is irrelevant - show us an article where a reliable source noticed. PKT(alk) 03:08, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- http://www.ustream.tv/channel/awesome-win-person-in-2d! There is an Exclamation point that is getting cut off the link
- I have to agree with tippx, as an lifelong Innisfilian, The dose of dude crew is certainly notable, and were featured in the 2008 motion picture "First I Must Train", along with many TV appearances. They also do have a cult-following which is certainly has a power level of over 9000. They have also made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment.
- The only thing that proves is that the group exists. See the guidelines I've posted below for the criteria used by Wikipedia to assess the merits for a group's inclusion in an article, or for its own article. Mindmatrix 14:06, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

(indents removed) You continue to ignore what I'm telling you, and you haven't proven a darned thing. I have asked other editors to advise. PKT(alk) 12:04, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
Note: first, there are few web page mentions of this group (for example, see this google search). Second, in order for an individual, group, organisation or business to be deemed notable, there must be third-party reportage or investigation (ie - newspapers or academic papers) whose primary topic of coverage is that entity. Please read the guidelines for Notability and Notability of people for more information. This group does not merit inclusion in this article at this time. Mindmatrix 14:04, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
