The request to rename this article to Instant Freeze has been carried out. |
Instant Freeze (Batman Episode) → Instant Freeze – There is no need for this level of disambiguation. Aspects (talk) 06:28, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 13:56, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Aspects: To many people "Instant Freeze" without disambiguater would first mean instant freezing. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 13:56, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose everyone knows that Instant Freeze is a hair spray by Aussie (shampoo). No seriously, we don't want a 1966 TV episode squatting over something generic to foods. In ictu oculi (talk) 14:38, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
- This is the only article titled "Instant Freeze" and it redirects to the List of Batman episodes. If there is a better redirect for it, then it should be redirected there with this article moving to Instant Freeze (Batman) per WP:NCTV. If there is not a better redirect for it, then the article should be moved to Instant Freeze. Aspects (talk) 22:55, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
- Yes but you can't really claim that this TV episode meets the primary topic for instant freeze, so the capitalization is the only thing here that says "1966 Batman episode". In ictu oculi (talk) 11:40, 25 November 2017 (UTC)
- It is even harder to claim that freeze-drying is the primary topic for the term instant freeze seeing that the redirect did not even exist until after you made this comment, the article does not contain the term "instant freeze" and only twice uses the word "instant", both times in reference to instant coffee, once in a sentence and once to identify the picture. - Move per Aspects. A move is required, (by WP:NCTV#Episode articles, this article should already be at Instant Freeze (Batman)), but until there is a conflict, it can reside at the primary. -- Netoholic @ 11:01, 25 November 2017 (UTC)
- Support – Quite frankly, I did not know that "Instant Freeze" was a hair spray, and I don't see a separate article for it. Plus, to me, a Batman episode is way more popular than a hair spray. So it is clear to me that this is the primary topic. JE98 (talk) 14:07, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
- Support. Since Instant Freeze, thus capitalized, has targeted List of Batman (TV series) episodes for years without controversy, I’d say it is safe to move this article over the redirect. The shampoo, which I’d never heard of, is not likely to have its own article; we can reconsider the question of primary topic if and when it does. Gorobay (talk) 20:34, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
