The pressures on individual investors have never been greater, with more in-vestment choices available, more account types, more awareness of risk management and mitigation principles, and more diverse planning theories and horizons. While the investors at the top end of the spectrum worry about managing many, many concerns, all investors face most of the same issues at varying levels of intensity. We believe that financial services institutions focused on the retail investor will only be successful by becoming one of the preferred, trusted advisors for their clients' personal financial portfolios.
