Hundreds?
editI've seen lists and maps that give 52 as the stereotypical number of indigenous languages in Mexico. This includes some languages with only a dozen or so speakers. One of these numbers is wrong, or they're counting differently - the "hundreds" could be dialects, there must be dozens of dialects of Nahuatl alone. Homunq (talk) 03:14, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
- I read the catalog, and clarified this aspect of the article. Homunq (talk) 03:29, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
I've linked to our copy of the list, which I created to develop redirect support for the INALI names. However, it's not in main space, which might bother some people. Feel free to move and edit as necessary. — kwami (talk) 20:58, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
