Intercity Direct → Intercity direct – The brand name Intercity direct is spelled with a lowercase 'd' (see http://www.ns.nl/en/travel-information/special-routes/intercity-direct.html) Jamy015 (talk) 01:51, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:11, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- @Jamy015: But does that fit in with Wikipedia's rules about tradenames? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:11, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose this is a company name and follows English capitalization rules for proper nouns. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:12, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- I'd just like to point out that Intercity D/direct is a train service, not a company, which would be NS or Nederlandse Spoorwegen. --HyperGaruda (talk) 16:29, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, then it's a brand, but it's still a proper noun in English and in English is capitalized. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:20, 7 December 2016 (UTC)

- Oppose. Branding only. Normal English usage is to capitalise terms like this. -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:23, 7 December 2016 (UTC)

Supplement pillars cancellation time
editThe time one has to undo applying the supplement is probably 30 minutes rather than 30 seconds. The Dutch version of the page of the NS website, the 8th source, says 30 minutes, so does another page on NS's website: https://www.ns.nl/en/customer-service/termination-cancellation/cancelling-a-supplement.html (here both the Dutch and the English version suggest 30 minutes). It is very probable that NS made a mistake on its English website by stating the 30 seconds. Should this be changed in the article? ~~~~ Taalkenner10 (talk) 21:01, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
