I think "interloper" is also an historical term for someone trading in defiance of a legal trade monopoly...like think 18th century. Or is at least used in that capacity. 69.212.2.169 18:34, 16 October 2005 (UTC)
Other uses of interloper
editInterloper is indeed a term used by the British East India company as a derogatory slang against those supposedely trading in defiance of its legal monopoly on Britain-India trade. Perhaps there should be a disambiguation page to clarify this. ArrowHead 00:32, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
