Merge?

- No, it is not the same and should not be merged. Internal hernias is specific group of hernia, about which there is more than enough specific information to fill an article. --WS (talk) 16:28, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Women?
editHi, I'm the physician who initially drew the image and added a fair amount of the text. I am inclined to remove the paragraph about womens issues, as the sex difference is of little use in terms of diagnosis or treatment, is potentially conflating some information about inguinal hernias (eg, symptoms disappear when laying flat) and, based on my review of PubMed, the literature is actually quite thin on such claims. The only citation appears to be a news paper article.
