editThis page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --DanielCro (talk) 05:55, 21 October 2022 (UTC) I'm sorry I mad mistake here. I didn't work much on Wikipedia and don't have enough experience. I was thinking that if I put text in Italic I can copy important content from other sites Like resolutions but I was wrong. I just deleted copyright content and will work more on this section in the following days in order to make better content in my own words. Thank you for your support and understanding.

editThank you very much for this warning and for helping to make this article of higher quality and in accordance with Wikipedia's rules. In accordance with all recommendations, I removed two sponsored articles from the Washington Times from the source of information, but a problem arose due to the lack of information about the founding assembly of the organization, so I added the official website of the organization as an additional source of information. I have not been able to find any other sources of information that could replace this official site or sponsored articles from the Washington Times with basic information about the founding assembly. Thank you for your understanding and support. DanielCro (talk) 14:53, 22 October 2022 (UTC)

editThank you for this recommendation and help to make this article more qualitative and better, and in accordance with the rules on Wikipedia. Unfortunately, it was not specified which part of the article it was referring to, so I re-read the entire article in detail and concluded that this remark probably refers to the section on the organization's goals. In accordance with your recommendation, for which I am grateful, I edited the text and I hope that now the text is in order and more in academic style. I apologize for the lapse in work, I'm still a new Wikipedia editor (with a bit of editing) and I'm still learning. DanielCro (talk) 14:58, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
- As it stands, the page had a format typical of when an organization writes an article about itself which often include a organization mission-vision. Yes, its more about the goals section but its not bad. In general, yes the information must be presented from a third-party point of view in general which is a bit of a challenge for a peace organization such as this which pursues a more subjective goal. Quotations could help (e.g. The IAAP aims to promote "everlasting peace regardless of race and political ideology" among members of all countries' legislatures) if such text is unavailable. Pardon for the fictional and rough example made to illustrate the point. But even then use this approach sparingly.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 00:51, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
- Also I don't quite understand if "Resolution from the founding meeting" is the main establishment event of the IAAP. Unrelated to this but I highly recommend to make/convert a "History" section. Hariboneagle927 (talk) 00:59, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
- WOW, you have made so many improvements in this article, I really appreciate it and thank you for your time and effort. I don't have that much experience and I'm still learning how to work on Wikipedia. In fact, the biggest challenge for me in preparing this article was the lack of available, credible sources of information.
- I assume that IAPP must have already achieved some results in its work, and that the founding resolution is not the greatest result of their work, but it is very difficult to find information about it on the Internet. My understanding is that I should not use or rely on information from official websites, but should seek external, credible sources of information. There is very little information about IAPP from external websites for now, so I will post new information when it becomes available.
- As for the history section, I agree that it is a good idea but I would wait a little longer until I can find more information about this organization.
- I will look at the sources of information I currently have, about founding assemblies in other countries, and add some more information.
- If you think this article can still be improved in some way, feel free to edit it. I am very grateful to be able to learn from an older and more experienced member of the wikipedia community, such as yourself, how to edit a Wikipedia article in a quality manner, in accordance with Wikipedia rules. - Hi Hariboneagle927. I've been quite busy lately and haven't had time to work on Wikipedia. However, today I was looking at some old articles I created on Wikipedia and came across this old article. I see that you had certain objections to the quality of the article and left 2 template messages, This article contains content that is written like an advertisement and This article's tone or style may not reflect the encyclopedic tone used on Wikipedia. I see that after your remarks, I edited that article a lot, in accordance with your suggestions, and you also helped me a lot with your editing, as did some other editors. Do you think that the article is now good enough and in accordance with wP rules and that these "template messages" can be removed? Please let me know.
- In any case, I thank you very much for your help and support so far. I really appreciate that. DanielCro (talk) 19:08, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
