Please also note the requirements surrounding conflicts of interest. The two articles cover similar ground; if the subject is notable enough for an article, it can certainly be covered on one page, not two. --Ckatz^chat_spy 17:01, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

I have some serious doubts concerning the relevance of the reference N° 3 that, unless I am mistaken, does not in any way substantiate the claim that the CEO "has advised several governments on espionage and intelligence related issues". It seems to just include some opinions that Mr Bomberg has on a case made to a Russian news agency.

The article does not make any reference to advice given to governments on espionage. RIAN does not claim to be part of the Russian government and according to its web site; "RIA Novosti is Russia's leading news agency in terms of multimedia technologies, website audience reach and quoting by the Russian media" http://en.rian.ru/docs/about/novosti.html Themoonsaballoon (talk) 18:06, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

RUSI membership

I would also question the relevance of communicating about RUSI membership because as stated on its website "Standard membership The RUSI standard membership is offered to all." https://my.rusi.org/SSLPage.aspx?pid=396 Apparantly The only qualifaction required is to be able to afford the membership fees which start at £120 per year.

Unless the CEO of International Intelligence has some kind of authentifiable role other than a simple membership it would seem that reference to this membership and in whole the aim of this page seems to be contrary to the soapbox policy

I would also suggest that as the membership is not supported by a reference it would probably be known only to the person holding that membership which then suggests that its inclusion in the article means that the contributor is probably linked closly with the CEO and there is a real COI and notably the self-promotion and financial clauses as the external links point directly to a commercial website.

Hi I presume that you are closely linked to the company and the CEO so maybe you can help answer the questions as that's exactly the aim of the talk page it's a discussion. Effectively I know only what is verifiable sur Internet about the RUSI hence the question "is membership relevant to the article and if so why". Could you maybe supply a reference to the need for a sponsor and the vetting procedure as there doesn't seem to be anything on their website about it https://my.rusi.org/SSLPage.aspx?pid=350. I'm sure membership is a big deal for the person who is a member but i am not sure that mentionning it has its place in an encyclopedia unless there is some kind of relevance to the article. Maybe you could justify why your membership adds weight to article because it doesn't seem to be a professional association linked to the activity of the company nor some kind of professional qualification. It seems to be an institute "offered to all" according to their web site, in their FAQ one can read the following Who can become a member of RUSI?

Membership of RUSI is open to all individuals and organisations with an interest in defence and security matters. Our membership packages provide privileged networking opportunities and benefits tailored to meet the needs of both individuals and large organisations.

. Can you maybe add to the article the kind of membership that you have to add weight to the relevance of the membership, are you an expert that has published under the name of RUSI, or are you one of the associate fellows, have you maybe been invited to speak at one of their events? Also the article is about the company and not the CEO so i would suggest that the affiliation of the company to different organisations linked to its activity would be much more useful.
