Competition numbers

edit

I think the ordinal numbers for the competitions are wrong in the article. They are in Roman numerals in the table and used elsewhere. The 1st competition was in 1989, so the 2nd was 1990, so 2009 would be 21st or XXI rather that 20th or XX. In a quick web search I couldn't find any official numbering. I do note that the article http://www.pianoamateurs.com/documents/presse/2012/competition-report-mai-2012.pdf refers to starting the competition "23 years ago" which would make the 2012 competition the 24th. If there's no objection, I'll change the numbers as above. Thank you,  SchreiberBike | ⌨  03:55, 10 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

You are wrong. The official website (http://pianoamateurs.com) has lots of mentions of the competition numbering, including the announce of the 2016 competition (see the "Registration" tab), which is numbered 27th. You have also edited the caption to the official poster of the 25th competition which was held in 2014 to be 26th instead (so obviously wrong). Reverted your change. 21:24, 30 July 2015 (UTC)

Don't know that exactly, but there was presumably one year when the competition was not held for some reason. 22:34, 30 July 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.25.2.183 (talk)
